Taïs is a New York City–based teaching artist with over 10 years of experience in arts education. Her teaching experience includes work with Partnership With Children, Carnegie Hall, The Town Hall, Astoria Performing Arts Center, and Delaware Valley Performing Arts Intensive, where she served as Head of Theater and Chorus. She has developed and implemented arts curricula, facilitated theater and music workshops, directed student performances, and collaborated with Carnegie Hall’s Educational Media and Technology team to develop educational content and interactive music experiences for its website.

As Music Director of Creative Coexistence at Brooklyn College, Taïs developed and led initiatives promoting diversity and unity through music, organized workshops and performances, collaborated with students, and coordinated guest artists and lecturers.

Taïs also worked as an educator and wildlife theater performer at the New York Aquarium, using theater, storytelling, guided tours, puppet performances, and sea lion show narration to engage audiences and educate visitors about marine life and ocean conservation.

Taïs approaches teaching through a trauma-informed lens, prioritizing supportive and inclusive learning environments that meet students where they are. She values individualized instruction, creative exploration, and helping students build confidence while developing their own artistic voices.

She also works as a standardized patient at Columbia University and SUNY Downstate, portraying patients in simulated clinical encounters to help physicians in training develop communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.

In addition to her work with educational organizations, Taïs maintains a private teaching studio, offering individualized instruction in voice, piano, music theory, flute, and theater to students ranging from early childhood through adulthood.
